This is the role

Business Management

  • Give input and implement Operational Business; action plans, pricing plans and execute these plans for the sales department for the responsible regions and segments.
  • Identify potential customers and projects by use of self-collected market information and of networking with colleagues.
  • Cultivate potential market within a defined market segment based on the yearly sales plan, sales action plans and standards of performance to be realized.
  • Inform colleagues and manager about new and existing products and applications of competitors.
  • Keep own knowledge updated by participating in relevant seminars, workshops etc.
  • Make price and discount decisions within agreed authorization levels.
  • Build, expand and maintain existing and potential markets in order to achieve the defined goals; maintaining personal contacts with key accounts/stakeholders.
  • Provide Business/Sales manager monthly reporting on forecasts, market trends, opportunities and corrective actions.         

Channel/ Distribution Management

  • Develop or maintain strong distribution network committed to supporting the total Grodan portfolio.
  • Dealer management: make dealer action plans in line with the agreements and strategy for that distributor and execute these plans

Sales-/ Customer Focus Management

  • Take ownership for achieving sales budget, volume and price increases for the responsible market segment or area
  • Inform manager of all relevant market information on competitors
  • Maintain strong relationship with (key) customers both direct and indirect.
  • Systematically register all  relevant information in Grodan CRM system and sales file
  • Have commercial and technical contacts with potential market relations.
  • Build customer relations and gain a position in the network of the parties involved in a way to influence the choice for Grodan and his products in a positive way.
  • Report information about sales and commercial activities, trends, competition new and existing products and applications.
  • Actively set up training for customers in conjunction with Business Support.
  • Take care of claims and after sales activities.

 

This is what you offer:

  • A relevant higher vocational level degree and substantial relevant working experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in similar positions ideally within companies/industries which are suitable for the role and within companies working with dealers’ channel.
  • Ability to establish rapport with distributors, customers internal and external and stakeholders.
  • Very good understanding of Grodan proposition and marketing- sales strategies.
  • Regular use of sales IT tools
  • Written and spoken English
  • Excellent commercial sales skills. Strong Negotiation skills.
