Group Technology (GT) is in charge of in-house design and commissioning of world class production equipment and factories of the ROCKWOOL Group. Our aim is to have the most competitive and flexible production platform in the industry while delivering top class quality under safe conditions.

This is the role

You will be part of the Cold End & Systems Solutions Department, the Competence Center for the Cold End part of production lines and Off-line production lines.

As Project Manager (PM) in GT you will work on all phases of a project, from concept study through specification and design to test, commissioning and after service.  You are overall responsible for the engineering and specification of project supplies including scope, timing, budget and the follow up on engineering, manufacturing and workshop testing of equipment and complete plants.

Your assignments can vary from small machine deliveries and engineering support to participation in large "Green Field" factory projects on a global scale – mainly in Europe, Asia and North America.

You should expect around 70 travel days per year.

This is what you offer

At least a Bachelor degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years’ Project Management experience from a similar position.

Professional Project Management training e.g. PRINCE2 is considered an advantage

We expect that you have the following experiences and qualities:

  • Project Management (PM) experience and overall understanding of the PM discipline.
  • Analysis and evaluation of customer needs.
  • Budget Management and follow up on project economy.
  • Contract Management and follow up on suppliers.
  • Supervision of installation and running in equipment on site.
  • Being both quality and result-oriented with a high standard in your deliveries.
  • Being a team player who can also work independently.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional languages would be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of IT as to MS Project and MS Office.
