ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is part of the ROCKWOOL Group and is offering advanced technical insulation solutions for the process industry as well as marine & offshore.

This is the role

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director for Africa, Middle East & APAC, you will be selling technical insulation and working with a variety of customers and stakeholders worldwide. As Sales Manager Africa, you will be focusing on insulation potential for large infrastructure projects and will have an in depth insight into the different markets and different cultures. By maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders (internal and external) and supported by the global ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation team, you will be responsible for developing strategy, implementing sales growth and making pricing policy for quotations in various markets and agreeing project pricing discounts, for the African region. The Sales Manager Africa identifies the needs of the customers by giving clear directions to others as to what is expected of them and delegates and comes up with suitable solutions and proposals.


We are flexible for the correct candidate, with options to be based in Roermond Netherlands, Hedehusene Denmark or Dubai.

This is what you offer

  • Engineering/business related degree;
  • 5+ years’ of experience ideally within a process, industrial or engineering based company;
  • A proven track record as a successful sales professional in export markets;
  • A good network of relationships in engineering within the Oil, Gas and Power segments;
  • Written and spoken French, English and preferable Arabic;
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% per year.
