The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

The Team Leader reports directly to the Area Manager and has Technician direct reports. This position is based out of the Ranson Factory in West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities & Job Content:

  • Safety - Avoid incidents by ensure 'zero safety incidents' mentality and culture in his/her area
  • Environment - Avoid incidents by ensure 'zero environmental incidents' mentality and culture in his/her area
  • Quality - Avoid incidents by ensure 'zero quality incidents' mentality and culture in his/her area
  • Delivery - Ensure volumes are produced in time in full against production plan
  • Delivery - Accurate inventories in the area by Process Order reconciliation and closure
  • Productivity - Deliver the volumes and PKFs with the planned and budgeted headcount
  • Cost - Area budget responsible, deliver the volumes within available budget
  • Cost - Improve cost over time through systematic Loss Elimination, Identify and eliminate losses
  • Morale - Build and grow High Performing Teams in his/her area
  • Morale - Coach and develop the Line Teams
  • Morale - Team back up and succession planning
  • ROPEX - Own one Element for the Area
  • ROPEX - Priority Setting through Daily Direction Setting and effective escalation of issues
  • ROPEX - Continuous improvement through effective problem solving and PDCA thinking
