Project Manager

Do you want to pave the way for an innovative rainwater harvesting solution that prepares urban environments for extreme rainfall?

Engaging with engineers, constructors and utility companies and adjusting our product to the Danish market, you play a key role in the development of insulation solutions that relieve the existing sewer systems.

This is who we are
As a part of the ROCKWOOL Group, Lapinus is exploring the opportunities of managing rainwater through our innovative rock-based water management solution – Rockflow. The system buffers the rainfall from extreme showers quickly and effectively for it to be subsequently infiltrated into the soil or discharged to the sewer system.

With a well-established function in the Netherlands and a range of successful test cases, we are currently introducing Rockflow to the Danish market while keeping the rest of the Nordic countries in the pipeline.

This is the role

As our first Danish project manager, you will provide sales support to our Danish sales colleague who has been working on the project since April 2018. Collaborating with him, as well as colleagues in the Netherlands, you will take on a versatile role where you influence and support the sales process, train contractors and help adjust Rockflow to local circumstances (using e.g. CAD).

Your key tasks include:

  • Preparing installation manuals for the construction
  • Collaborating with co-suppliers on value engineering within the tender process
  • Working out a logistical schedule for the construction
  • Providing technical consultancy during the design phase regarding realisation and cost
  • Monitoring the construction and delivery with regards to quality, time and budget

This is what you offer

As our first Copenhagen-based project manager in this unit, it is important that you possess sound knowledge of water management and the ability to jump quickly into your role. From the start you will receive an extensive training on all product features of our Rockflow solution.

By sharing your enthusiasm for the product with e.g. engineers, constructors, utility companies and municipalities, you gain trust and interest from technical partners as well as customers.  The key to your success is a hands-on approach to your projects. Furthermore, we are looking for:

  • A degree in engineering, preferably within climate adaption, and experience from e.g. an engineering or a utility company
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including stakeholder management
  • CAD skills enabling you to read projecting sketches and make minor additions and alterations
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English both spoken and written

This is what we offer

To become a true expert in our product, you collaborate closely with the Dutch department consisting of 5 colleagues and our Business Manager who you will be reporting to directly. Here, you will receive introduction and training, taking you to the Netherlands as much as needed in the beginning and approx. once a month henceforward.

Deadline for application is 2nd of January. Interviews are planned during January. Expected day for starting is 1st of March.
