POSITION: e-Gro Product Manager

Grodan is part of the ROCKWOOL Group and is the global leader in offering advanced stone wool growing media solutions for plants.

This is the role

We supply innovative and sustainable stone wool growing media solutions for the professional horticultural sector, based on Precision Growing principles. Stone wool growing media are offered together with tailor-made advice and innovative tools to support Precision Growing enabling growers to achieve the best crop quality possible.

We developed a SaaS product, called e-Gro, that provides comprehensive visibility of all data in the operation of our customers (the growers) and will support them with intelligent recommendations to help make informed decisions and optimise their total operation. The e-Gro software will both be available for vegetable and legal cannabis growing.

This position reports directly to the e-Gro Director (located in the Netherlands) and is responsible for:

  • Understands the customer needs, with focus on the legalised cannabis growing in NA
  • Acquires an in depth knowledge of the legalised Cannabis markets in North America and stays informed on newest developments and trends
  • Acts as the voice of the customer in the definition of e-Gro solutions
  • Organises and manages customer feedback through interviews, surveys, concept testing, analytics tools etc.
  • Create user stories based on user feedback and tested hypothesis
  • Create design briefs that outline design iterations, prioritized concepts and timelines
  • Maintain the backlog of ideas, hypothesis and user story design for the legalised Cannabis market in NA Monitor performance and support needs
  • Prototype and test low-to-high fidelity design work
  • Participates in the Learning and Design scrums for the MJ product
  • Cooperating within e-Gro team with the Strategic Designer (located in The Netherlands), who has the responsibility of the overall Learning and Design backlogs
  • Cooperate with and support to sales team, technical support, customer success managers and marketing
  • Prepare and run training programs

This is what you offer:

  • Business related university degree
  • 5 + years’ experience in similar positions ideally within companies/industries which are suitable for the role where they have driven changes effectively
  • Profound experience in Sales & Marketing and operational supply chain management in dynamic and challenging markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Interpretation of finance information
