ROCKWOOL Global Business Services (RGBS) is a multifunctional competence centre of the ROCKWOOL Group (with the headquarters in Denmark), which provides financial, accounting and IT, HR, Group Technology services for ROCKWOOL group entities.

This is the role:

As part of a Global IT organization you will be responsible for providing support to approximately more than 10,000 users located in various different locations around the globe.

The IT Service Consultant role is to provide a Single Point of Contact for end users to receive service, support and operation within the company's computing environment and overall IT Workplace.

This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Printers) to ensure optimal workstation performance. Provide positive and word class user experience with each user interaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

•    Assist users with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of Laptop, Desktop computers, Printers, related IT sanctioned peripherals and software.
•    Ensure Laptop/Desktop/Tablets interconnect seamlessly with corporate systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, switches, routers, etc.
•    Resolving and repairing any PC/Windows related issues
•    Responsible for preparing and rolling out new hardware Laptops \ Desktops
•    Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish the job.
•    Assist with IT Asset Management process and maintain hardware inventory 
•     Builds deeper understanding of processes, procedures, customers, and organization
•    Participate in various smaller tasks and projects related to IT support
•    Understands and applies principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field.
•    Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
•    Other duties as required

This is what you offer:
•    University Degree\Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent 
•    Minimum of 2 years of technical support or similar experience in the IT industry 
•    Proficiency in hardware configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and repair (desktops, laptops, and peripherals) 
•    Proficiency in Windows 7,Windows 10, Office 2010, and other desktop software installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair 
•    Working experience in Active Directory,  Exchange account administration, and SCCM
•    Proficiency in English 
•    ITIL Foundation would be an asset
•    Knowledge of networking, cabling, switching, NICs in order to troubleshoot connectivity issues 
•    Knowledge of network and multi-function printers 
•    Other languages proficiency is a plus
