We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Analyst to join ROCKWOOL’s Group Commercial Excellence team. As Commercial Excellence Analyst, you will be involved in the following areas: Sales Force Effectiveness, Pricing and Contracts and on the area of Commercial Digital in the development and operations of systems like CRM, CPQ, e-commerce. With an initial focus on Sales Force Effectiveness and Commercial digital, the role will entail the continuous improvement of ROCKWOOL CRM and CPQ systems and business related processes as well as the development of our future e-commerce platform. You will also work closely with our subsidiaries to identify improvements in business processes linking those the various sales effectiveness initiatives like customer segmentation, and how that can positively impact Group performance. You will be instrumental in developing and driving our customer analysis processes in collaboration with our regional businesses ensuring that the business benefits from the different commercial excellence initiatives are clearly identified and delivered, whether this is regarding refinement of new processes or adaptation of new functionalities or establishment of new organisational set-up.

The Product Management and Commercial Excellence team – part of Group Marketing Communication & Public Affairs department – is, amongst other things, responsible for continuously driving improvements and setting targets to achieve the ambitious ROCKWOOL growth goals and at the same time it provides ROCKWOOL decision makers with the information on markets and competitors development.

Responsibilities of the role:

As Commercial Excellence Analyst, you will work with colleagues within the Commercial Excellence team to:

  • Support the development of ROCKWOOL Sales Force Effectiveness programme and related initiatives;
  • Prepare and present analytics and reporting on ROCKWOOL SFE programme;
  • Support the adoption and improvement of CRM/ CPQ processes and functionality;
  • Provide ongoing analysis on related CRM, CPQ business processes across ROCKWOOL subsidiaries;
  • Create analysis to drive our sales processes and ensure that best practices used in single markets are employed across the group;
  • Participates in the development of strategic and commercial objectives for CRM/ CPQ development;
  • Manage & communicate findings related to sales analysis across geographies by cooperating with local Sales teams and group Controlling;
  • Help manage continuous improvement opportunities with field sales and pricing operations in support of more profitable, faster, and more accurate sales decisions;
  • Help develop and drive analysis of markets across geographies, assess competitive activity and volume/share positions, and forecast price and revenue.

Your ideal qualifications are:

  • Formal education in business administration (Cand.merc.mat., AEF, FIR., FSM, IBS), economics or engineering;
  • 2-4 years of business experience in the areas such as: commercial excellence, pricing, sales, market intelligence, forecasting;
  • Experience (trained) in CRM Dynamics and Callidus Cloud CPQ, or other tools alike is a plus;
  • Solid knowledge and use of IT combined with a toolbox of financial and marketing methodologies;
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

You hold:

  • Excellent analytic skills, attention to details and ability to draw high level conclusions from quantitative as well as qualitative information;
  • Highly numerate, strong quantitative skills, enjoying analyzing large amount of data, synthetizing them to provide key input for decision makers and business operator;
  • A curious and proactive personality with a desire to learn and make an impact;
  • A strong team player profile with good interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams, preferably in an international environment.
