POSITION: DIRECTOR, INTEGRATED SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING

The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

Based out of the North American Head Office in Milton, ON, the Integrated Supply Chain Planning Leader will have North American responsibility for all aspects of planning (demand, supply, scheduling, deployment).  Leading a team of 7 and reporting directly to the Vice President, Supply Chain, he/she is responsible for leading the transformation of the supply chain planning function, ensuring the effective utilization of production capacity.

Key Result Areas:

  • Lead the Integrated Supply Chain Planning team across North America to deliver superior customer service cost effectively
  • Serve as a role model for the department promoting teamwork, ownership, cooperation and accountability
  • Develop and mentor staff, and provide training to effectively manage the demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling and deployment functions
  • Establish S&OP processes and tools and facilitate to ensure cross functional business alignment. 
  • Direct and manage the strategic development of the North American supply network optimization
  • Serve as an active member of the North American Supply Chain Leadership Team

This is what you offer:

  • University degree and a minimum of 10+ years supply chain experience, including at least five years in a management capacity
  • Expert in field of integrated supply chain planning, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable long term business improvements (Knowledge of SAP preferred)
  • Seasoned leader planning in complex, multi-site, growth oriented manufacturing organization
  • Demonstrated success in building a world class integrated planning function and team
  • Inspirational leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Drive, commitment, self-motivation and high energy.
  • Passionate and values driven and will embrace the company’s core values including integrity, honesty and trust
