ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is part of the ROCKWOOL Group and is offering advanced technical insulation solutions for the process industry as well as marine & offshore.

This is the role:

Reporting to the Sales Director, Canada, you will be responsible for ensuring the sale and specification of ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation products through established ownership, contractor and distribution channels in keeping with the company’s sales and marketing policies. You will be responsible for managing the sales region and defined plans to contribute to the ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation NA strategy.

The geographical scope of the role will be Ontario, Quebec & Atlantic Canada.

The Regional Sales Manager will also maintain relations with internal and external contacts and will adapt style to national cultures and / or specific target groups.

This is what you offer:

  • Engineering related degree.
  • 5 + years’ sales experience in technical products within companies working with dealers’ channel.
  • A proven track record in leadership, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Written and spoken French and English Language to a high professional business level.
  • General knowledge of RW-TI Departments and procedures.
  • Managerial skills.
  • Personal Competencies – Essential         
  • Group leadership: Provides direction and guidance to a team/group on his/her own initiative in a way that leads to optimal team or group results.
  • Relationship: Is able to build a network relationship within customers, specifiers, and other decision makers.

  • Negotiation: Communicate own positions and arguments effectively and seek out and identify common goals in agreement and acceptance between both parties.
  • Organization: Plans & organises their own work effectively
  • Customer oriented: Actively works with customers/clients to identify their needs & comes up with suitable proposals
