POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVE, COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL, BRITISH COLUMBIA

The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

Reporting directly to the Western Regional Manager, Commercial & Residential and based out of the Lower Mainland Of BC. The Sales Representative, C&R will expand ROCKWOOL as a major supplier of insulation to the Commercial and Residential insulation markets and to sell ROCKWOOL products in line with the appropriate strategies, sales budgets and departmental costs. You will be responsible for executing the sales strategies that will deliver budgets established by management for sales volume, price and profit. You will participate in relevant trade, contractor and home shows and providing product knowledge sessions in group settings. You will also be responsible for account management, monthly reporting and regularly engaging with distribution, builders, contractors, local building officials, and industry influencers.

This is what you offer:

  • University Bachelor’s Degree, Business related degree
  • 2-3 years of sales/marketing experience ideally within companies/industries suitable for the role with a proven track record for growth and exceeding expectations
  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Written and spoken English Language to a high professional business level
  • Advanced level of presentation skills
  • Previous Building Materials experience within GSD, LBM and Industrial Channels including building science knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
