The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the role:

The Account Development Representative reports directly to the N.A. Sales Force Effectiveness Manager and is based out of the Head Office located in Milton, ON. The position is responsible for developing, identifying and securing all relevant sales opportunities . You will sell to existing clients and build relations with new clients primarily through remote means via the use of telephone, video conferencing, social media and online meetings.

Key Result Areas

  • Drive meaningful sales through managing many small- to mid-sized customers and achieving the sales budget(s) and goals as defined on a yearly basis.
  • Develop smaller customers with potential, and work with field sales to optimally serve the full customer portfolio
  • Daily active contact with existing customers (frequency/number to be decided)
  • Investigate and analyse the potential of customers/projects
  • Provide customers with information and recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests

This is what you offer:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in inside sales, data management or a similar role
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experienced and highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability on accuracy and data integrity
  • Experience working with business systems: SAP is preferred
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fact paced environment
  • Business or Accounting degree useful - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in remote sales via telephone/video/social media
  • One plus years of experience in business to business sales
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Knowledge of CRM
  • Knowledge of greater building materials sphere
