This is the role

In this marketing position you are responsible for marketing in the broadest sense. You will maximize the Marketing Communication activities of GRODAN and you will support Sales in the areas of Distribution, Pricing and Product Portfolio Management. The Area Marketing Manager will participate/ have a leading role in various Global Marketing projects. The geographical scope of this position is Central Eastern Europe & Export, your office is in Warsaw and you will report to the Busines Unit Manager Central Europe and Export Markets based in Poland. This job offer is for fixed-term (app.16 months).

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Takes care of the 4 P’s operationally for the CEE-EX region
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the Marcom plans in close co-operation developed with Sales. Support Sales in their goals set
  • Advises Sales in Pricing and Distributions issues
  • Takes care of local commercial Product Portfolio Management
  • Creates insight with respect to stakeholders and customer segments and is able to act accordingly
  • Carries out market analyses and supports the sales team in collecting customer information about products, services, expectations and satisfaction level
  • Marketing activities: organization of events, exhibitions, mailings, determining the optimal use of the media mix
  • Make optimal use of CRM system for roll out of described marketing activities in assigned markets.

  • Relevant working experience
  • Good knowledge of B to B marketing
  • Affinity with sales activities
  • Strong in multi-tasking (operational driven, but strategic and tactical reviewed)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with creating social media campaigns
  • Entrepreneurship, business awareness, high quality minded
  • Decisive, result-oriented, innovative thinking
  • Customer focus, continuous improvement mindset
  • Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the Polish and English language
