The role of the Production Planning Manager has an important impact on the demand and supply of the Finish Goods at both factories in Bukit Raja and Melaka.

He/She is to be responsible for efficient production planning, ensuring adequate inventory levels is built to meet customer demands and to address all inventory issues (shortages & surpluses) in a cost effective and timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Information – the Planner shall obtain all demand information from the Sales Order List as being input by Customer Service.  
  • Master schedule – the Planner is responsible to transfer all the information into a Master Schedule and advice on a best delivery date based on order priority, product specifications, production parameters, plant capacity and production lead times.  
  • Production schedule – the Planner is responsible to prepare a draft schedule (48 hours plan) for Mainline and Offline production expressing product ready date and delivery date. Upon confirmation by Customer Service and Production, Planner shall release a 24 hours schedule.

  • Communication – the Planner is responsible to communication all information to Customer Service, Production and Logistics.

  • Reports – the Planner shall track to monitor on production output and update the relevant reports on time.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Production Planning or in any relevant field
  • At least 10 years of working experiences in a process oriented manufacturing company and knowledge in total Supply Chain is preferable
  • Direct experience as Production Planning is compulsory
  • Willing to work beyond office hours and able to work under pressure
  • Able to communicate effectively with all level of people internally and externally
  • Proactive and analytical thinking skill is required to ensure the success for this position
  • This position can be based either in Bukit Raja or Ayer Keroh
