The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

The Purchasing Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is based out of our Factory in Milton, ON. The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for the procurement of all maintenance parts, and plant consumable materials (raw materials, binder ingredients and packaging materials) to ensure replenishments are met and inventories are maintained to min/max levels on a timely basis.  The Purchasing Supervisor is also responsible for fixed costs purchasing for the entire Plant.

  • Post college education.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel).
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ purchasing experience.
  • Drive, commitment, self-motivation and high energy.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Passionate and values driven and will embrace the company’s core values including integrity, honesty and trust.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Practical business sense.
