This is the role

We are looking for Business Development Project Lead in direct reference to the Business Unit director of Rockfon Nordics. It is a project role, expected to run over 2 years. After this period, the role & person will be considered for other positions in Rockfon​.

The Business development project Lead will be involved in New Business and Inorganic Growth Initiatives, such as M&A, Joint ventures, alliances and partnerships. Your role is to drive a Business development project across country borders and functions. Together with various functional heads, you will define and staff up multiple work-streams focusing on value creation. There will be no direct reporting lines but the person is expected to lead a cross-functional team and multiple stakeholders​ within Operations, Financial, IT, Sales and Marketing functions. Your role will be to lead and influence the work-streams to realize smooth realisation and overall business plan​. Regularly report out on integration and realized results and KPI’s​.

This is what you offer

To be successful in the role the individual should have experience in international business development in the Nordic countries, preferably in the building material industry.

We imagine the you also have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in building and coaching a multi-national team
  • Ability to grasp the details of the business quickly and getting the project organized in a pragmatic way
  • Experience in running cross-functional projects or large functional projects is a must
  • Experience in the Swedish and Finish business cultures is a must
  • Strong articulation and listening skills; not shy to give feedback at all levels and also take feedback to improve own performance
  • Ability to quickly grasp business and functional details to make function and organisations work together across
  • Understanding the equal importance of creating a spirit of collaboration as well as a strong follow up on milestone and agreed actions, when a developing business
  • MBA education, fluency in English and Swedish are a must​. Knowledge of the Finish language is considered an advantage
