The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

Reporting to the ROCKWOOL North America President, you will be based out of our office in Ranson, West Virginia and will be responsible for performing diverse, advanced and confidential administrative support. You should be comfortable managing different and conflicting objectives, projects or activities at once. You will act as liaison to internal and external groups coordinating events. You will also communicate with executives and others to gather/convey sometimes complex information.

Key Results Areas:

  • Plans and runs meetings and events across North America, for executives, board meetings, and company events.
  • Site office management.
  • Coordinate and prepare agendas for meetings, take meeting notes, and follow-up on actions from meetings
  • Communicates directly, on behalf of the President both internally and externally. 
  • Manages an active database of contacts, calendar, appointments and meetings
  • Works closely with the Executives keeping them apprised of upcoming events
  • Drafts documents for the President including correspondence, announcements, and business presentations
  • Conducts research and works on special projects as assigned by executive
  • Arranges travel plans and itineraries. Reconciles the Presidents expenses.

This is what you offer:

  • Professionally handles matters proactively and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • At least 5 year’s experience as an Executive Assistant to a Senior Executive
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, can manage multiple changing and conflicting priorities
  • High energy, self-starter, positive and can-do attitude
  • Flexible on working hours
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in heavy calendar management
  • Exercises superior phone skills and customer service
  • Experience in managing email/written communications
  • Proactive thinker; ability to anticipate and prepare ahead of the need
  • Proficient in all Microsoft products
