POSITION: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS – Grand Forks, BC
The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.
This is the Role:
The Director of Operations reports directly to the Technical Operations Director for North America. This role manages site factory operations and has the following roles reporting into it: Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Quality/Environment Manager, H&S Manager, Warehouse Manager and Project Manager.
The purpose of the job is to manufacture and deliver ROCKWOOL products in line with customer expectations and according to technical specifications, production plan and budgeted cost price. You will pursue efficiency improvements and cost reduction continuously and to assess development, propose and implement capital projects. You will be responsible for managing the department to achieve its objectives in terms of quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency and management development.
