Position: Robot Operator

This is the role:

The Robot Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The objective of the Production Department is to produce quality mineral fibre insulation products withing the Company’s parameters of Material Efficiency, Time Efficiency and maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace without jeopardizing product quality or the environment. This position will be based out of our Byhalia, Mississippi location.

What you offer:

  • Highschool education or greater.

  • Experience in machine set-up and computers.

  • Possess the drive and understanding of key figures and how to maximize output.

  • Work well under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Must have good understanding of how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.

  • Good understanding of H+S requirements and works in a safe manner.

  • Self-motivated with the drive, commitment and high energy to motivate others.

  • Good people and training skills.

  • Well organized.

  • Protocol experience in troubleshooting equipment.

  • The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.

Main Tasks

  • Operating Robots and Hooders.

  • Require granulated waste wool when needed.

  • Operation of Forklifts if qualified in a safe manner.

  • Maintain a clean, safe workplace and follow all established safety rules.

  • Relieve, organize breaks and do rotations to maintain workload and efficiency with as short a period of time as possible.

  • Inform next shift of any problems or tasks which you are aware of and needs attention.

  • Any other tasks as necessary or designated by the Lead or Supervisor.
