Our DIGITAL (IT) Department offers a lot of development opportunities in projects connected with different modules of SAP, web development and mobile applications (Java, .Net), Project Management, MS Dynamics, Office 365, IT Service Desk, Data analytics, Workday and many other functions.
The department of Web Development which is part of Digital Business is responsible for all web development within the entire ROCKWOOL Group.
Are you passionate about providing top-class IT support, you might be the new IT Service Consultant in ROCKWOOL International Global Service Desk team. As part of a global IT organization, you will be responsible for providing support to approximately more than 11,000 users located in various locations around the globe.
This is the role
The role of IT Service Consultant is to be a Single Point of Contact for end-users to deliver service, support and operation within the company's computing environment and overall IT Digital Workplace. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
Your main tasks will be:
Assist users with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of Laptop, Desktop computers, Printers, related IT sanctioned peripherals and software;
Ensure Laptop/Desktop/Tablets interconnect seamlessly with corporate systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, switches, routers, etc;
Resolving and repairing any PC/Windows related issues;
Preparing and rolling out new hardware Laptops \ Desktops;
Assist with IT Asset Management process and maintain hardware inventory;
Participate in various smaller tasks and projects related to IT support;
Provide a positive and word-class user experience with each user interaction.
This is what you offer
University degree (in IT related field);
Preferably 2+ years of work experience in a global support environment;
Proficiency in hardware configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and repair (desktops, laptops, and peripherals);
Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, and other desktop software installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair;
Working experience in Active Directory, Exchange account administration, and SCCM,
Interest and a good understanding of technical IT environments; good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish the job;
ITIL foundation certified would be a plus;
Proactive in raising concerns or take initiatives to improve procedures;
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
Good presentation skills and ability to conduct training would be an asset.
