October 26, 2017

With a score of A-, the Group is amongst the top 22 percent of companies registering their efforts in climate action.

Leadership level

The A- indicates a ‘level of leadership’ in the renowned carbon reporting system called CDP.

“This excellent result indicates ROCKWOOL International A/S has implemented a range of actions to manage climate change, both in its own operations and beyond,” states CDP in its report. “Companies at Leadership level show evidence of at least one of the following: meaningful targets and emissions reduction activities and verified or assured emissions data.”

About CDP and scoring

CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project, is a registered charity and the information it collects is publicly available. CDP enables companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their environmental impacts. ROCKWOOL Group has reported annually to CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project, since 2010 and the requirements have become stricter every year.

More than 6,000 global companies responded to CDP this year. Companies are scored on categories covering emissions management, governance and strategy, together with risk and opportunity management.
