POSITION: MARKET INTELLIGENCE MANAGER

The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

Reporting to the VP Marketing & Business Development, you will be responsible for market research and intelligence gathering, tracking and interpreting market information, developing and supporting market penetration strategies, customer satisfaction measurements and reporting on agreed market sectors and products segments.

Key Results Areas:

  • Support strategic decision-making by providing insights and inputs on opportunities and challenges.
  • Drive commercial and strategic projects in close collaboration with management team
  • Run marketing intelligence operations including monthly reporting and competitive and customer performance dashboards.

This is what you offer:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in market insights, finance or data-based consulting
  • Business or Economics Degree (master’s degree an asset)
  • Experience within the building materials or construction market
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to communicate complex subject matter in a clear and concise manner
  • Experienced and highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking and trouble shooting skills
  • Experience working with business systems: SAP is preferred
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
